All Battery Center Facilitates School Recycling Competition

Interstate Batteries Rounds Up Food for Food Bank

On May 8, Dallas-based Interstate Batteries held its annual Brand Promise Day to celebrate company and employee success in the past year by teaming up with the Harvesting International Ministry Center. The event focused on the Interstate Batteries’ brand promise to "power the things that make life better" and challenged more than 300 employees to bring in 1,000 non-perishable food items. The team donated 4,500 items to the charity. Since 1987, H.I.M. Center has teamed with local businesses to address the issues of hunger in our cities and provide much-needed supplies. Interstate Batteries donated the items to the Mansfield food bank and H.I.M. Center, which will distribute to families, church organizations, soup kitchens and food pantries.
